WMS system - implemented to minimize customer waiting time for order fulfillment and the possibility of errors in warehouse operations

In our warehouse, we have implemented a WMS (Warehouse Management System / Warehouse Management System) - that is, software for managing the flow of goods in the warehouse.
Its main task is to optimize warehouse operations. First of all, it records and monitors all warehouse events, from receipt of goods, through storage (e.g. control of storage location parameters, inventory), picking (e.g. creation of picking paths taking into account the distribution of goods in the warehouse), verification (e.g. with the use of verification panels automating the process) and release (e.g. register of released shipments), monitors the status of stored goods.
The WMS collects all relevant information about the course of warehouse processes, processes it and passes it on to the warehouse management staff, who make the best possible management decisions based on it. Thus, the warehouse management has a constant insight into the course and current status of each process and can react on an ongoing basis in case of disruptions or irregularities in the implementation of tasks set to be performed.
Thanks to the WMS system, the client receives a login to the panel, where, after logging in, he has a constant insight into the inventory, which allows him to control his goods on an ongoing basis and streamlines the processes of goods turnover. Thanks to the panel, he can directly submit orders to the warehouse himself, choosing the day and the time window, thus saving time on contacting the warehouse since he already places all the information for the order directly in the WMS.
