WMS - implemented to minimise customer waiting time and the possibility of errors in warehouse operations

We have implemented a WMS (Warehouse Management System) in our warehouse - that is, software for managing the flow of goods in the warehouse.
Its main task is to optimise warehouse operations. First of all, it registers and monitors all warehouse events, from the receipt of goods, through storage (e.g. control of storage location parameters, stocktaking), picking (e.g. creation of picking paths taking into account the distribution of goods in the warehouse), verification (e.g. with the use of verification panels automating the process) and issue (e.g. register of issued shipments), and monitors the status of stored goods.
The WMS collects all the relevant information about the warehouse processes, processes it and passes it on to the warehouse managers, who use it to make the best possible management decisions. Warehouse managers therefore have a constant overview of the progress and current status of each process and can react in real time in the event of disruptions or irregularities in the implementation of the tasks to be performed.
Thanks to the WMS system, the client receives a login to the panel where he can see his stock at all times, which allows him to control his goods on an ongoing basis and streamlines his stock turnover processes. Thanks to the panel, he can place orders directly to the warehouse by selecting the day and time window, thus saving time on contacting the warehouse as all the information for the order is already placed directly in the WMS.
